A Night of "Vision"
I am happy to announce that I am going to be participating in the 2nd Friday event for downtown Longmont this coming Friday, May 11th from 5 til 9 p.m. I have added a teaching studio to my gallery, and will be hosting a FAC event (Friday Afternoon Collage).
The theme behind the event is to come in and join me in creating your own Vision Board. What is a Vision Board you ask? It is a process of collage, painting and writing, where you create a piece of art using pictures from magazines and art ephemera in order to add clarity to your desires, and feeling to your visions for where you desire your life path to go. I created my first piece almost a year ago, and it is amazing what has come to me from this lovely piece of art, that hangs in my studio and reminds me every day what my intentions are. In ten years, I envision having 10 vision boards!
This is a fun, non-structured event, where you can meet new friends, enjoy some snacks and a beverage, and lose yourself in a creation for the evening.
The cost for participation is $10, and includes everything you need for the evening.
RSVP in advance if you want to ensure a spot at the table. Stay all night, or just a couple of hours.
